My attempt at experimentation!! LOL

Well it all started last week. I knew i had an event to go to yesterday. and I figured..ooo it would be nice if i could make some cheese empanadas!! So i asked my mom for some of the dough disks she uses, and she said she had a spare, and I could take it last Thu. when i left...WELL I FORGOT!!!!!
I looked everywhere in Fayetteville to see if they sold the darn disks..but no luck :-( I was really bummed out cuz i really wanted to make empanadas! Sooo i GOOGLED!! haha.. I found this recipe to make dough from scratch! I made an attempt on Tuesday and I made 2 and ...OMG THEY WERE SOOO GOOD!!
So yesterday I made the rest of the batch and I couldn't resist but to eat one..haha...but they were EVEN BETTER THAN ON TUESDAY!! haha...I was so proud. I'm good at following recipes, but sometimes, the food just doesn't want to cooperate! lol.  ...so here is the final result!

Needless to say everyone at my meet loved them too :-) YAY FOR ME AND EXPERIMENTING!!! haha

Grace in small things...

Oops I know this is Thu thing..but i forgot!! lol...so her it goes..

1. I've gotten to see my hubby soo many times this week..it's been awesome!!!
2. Managed to keep myself busy so this time flies by.
3. Was able to make it to our FRG meeting, and i had fun :-)
4. GOT A NEW CHAIR!! don't know if this was on last weeks..lol
5. My grass (weeds)  hasn't grown THAT much..so i won't have to do much this weekend :-)
6. I've lost 3-4 LBS!! yays!!
7. I get to see my nephew in 2 more days.i can't wait!
8. PRAISE for a day off work on Monday!!!!!!! hehehhe (although this should be on next weeks..hehe)
9. MIGHT get to see my best friend Regina some time today..*hopefully*
10. I made an attempt to making Cheese Empanadas..AND THEY CAME OUT SOOO YUMMY!!! :-)

Awesome Prayer..

I'm reading this book..(YES I KNOW READING!!! LOL) A friend gave it to me, and i started reading it when i traveled to Cincinnati. :-) "The Power of a praying wife" by Stormie Omartian.  It's been really good so far. :-)
Anyways, I found this prayer on the book, and I absolutely LOVED IT!! It is exactly what i want for Matt!! I'm so proud of what he does, but i know that everyone has their ups and downs...

"Lord, You alone know the depth of the burden my husband carries. I may understand the specifics, but You have measured the weight of it on his shoulders. I've not come to minimize what You are doing in his life, for I know you work great things in the midst of trials. nor am I trying to protect him from what he must face. I only want to support him so that he will get through this battle as the winner. 

God, You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1) You have invited us to "come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need" (Hebrews 4:16). I come before Your throne and ask for grace for my husband. Strengthen his heart for this battle and give him patience to wait on You (Psalm 27:1-4) Build him up so that no matter what happens he will be able to stand strong through it. Help him to be always "rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer" (Romans 12:12). Give him endurance to run the race and not give up, for You have said that "a righteous man may fall seven times and rise again" (Proverbs 24:16) Help him to remember that  "the steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, and He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; for the Lord upholds him with His Hand (Psalm 37:23,24) 

I pray he will look to You to be his "refuge until these calamities have passed by" (Psalm 57:1) May he learn to wait on You because  "those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31) I pray that he will find his strength in You and as he cries out to You, You will hear him and save him out of all his troubles (Psalm 34:6)."

I do truly pray this within my heart. Being apart is definitely not fun, and I only pray that i can be an encouragement to him at a distance...

Fun weekend cleaning!! hehe

So since Matt's not here, I've decided to do some cleaning :-) hehe..ok..so not decided, but had to do something, cuz I was driving myself crazy not doing anything. Eitherway...i started in the livingroom and worked my self to upstairs and finished on the studio :-) I also bought a new shelf, which you can see on the pic above, it's a little $15 dollar one, lol, but it does the job ;-) Matt had a lot of books, and they were driving me crazy being all around!! :-) (no offense babe)

So anyways, yes i pretty much spend all day cleaning, and building a shelf :-) it was a lot of fun. Ohh forgot to mention also, on Friday i was so bored i ran 4 MILES!!! lol. i was sweating like crazy, but it felt SOO good afterwards! 

Last night i got a chance to do my nails :-) I haven't done them in forever, and i wanted to try something different. I've been doing them with a french manicure since like YEARS ago!! and now they are....

PINK!!!!

So now i can actually say that I'm wearing pink for pink wed!!! hahahha....

Umm...nothing else much going on....but look on tomorrow I'll have my verse for the week!! :-) YAYS!!!

Grace in small things…

1. My house sold!
2. Was able to travel last week and it web a lot better than I was expecting :)
3. Have heard or gotten to talk to Matt every day!!!!
4. My car check up was a lot cheaper than expected :) hehe. ALWAYS a blessing!
5. I GOT PAID TODAY!!! and it doesn't have to go to a stupid empty house mortgage!!!! :)
6. I have a friend I can talk to everyday!!! And keeps me busy during work hrs :)

SOLD MY HOUSE!!!!

So this was me 2.5 years ago buying my first house!!!...(wow that was also my old truck too :-( *sighs*)  I remember it like it was yesterday...Here I was planning on living my long single years...OR SO I THOUGHT!! lol.. I met Matt a year later, and now my dream home became my STUCK WITH home :-( We've been trying to sell it since about a year and a half ago..and it has been very dreadful!!

HOWEVER!!!!!

We got a buyer and we sold on May 14th!!!!!!! SUCH A BURDEN LIFTED!! let me tell you, paying two mortgages is not the most fun idea...Plus having to ask my parents to keep cutting the grass, and having to replace windows, and basically just WASTING money, because i wasn't even living there!!

Anywho..God gave us the great blessing and provided!! although i had to lower it much than i expected in the end we only lost a bit...DEF worth the non stress though :-) Now i just have to find me another hobby to stress about..hehe...

Single again????

NO WAY!!!! just lonely :-(...So i had to say goodbye to my hubby today, and I won't see him for a while while :-( I tried to contain myself, and I was doing pretty good, until i had to let him get out of the car, and then I lost it :-( way to go! I hope his trip goes well, and i hope i get to talk to him a lot :-)

One thing that will definitely help me is the fact that I'm leaving today to Cinci. So here I am at the airport chillin' and trying to get some last minute work before arriving at our clients tomorrow. hehe..

I have 4 customers I'm visiting, it should be exciting. I just hope everyone is as nice as they were on email :-) hehe...Long day awaits me...i don't get in until like 1am, and then tomorrow my day starts at 6:30am!! OUCH!!! so i guess i better just sit here and relax :-)

I guess now that I'm alone I'll have more time to post...we'll hope..hehe...
