Cake Nighmares...the sequel..

I was being stubborn and really thought that I could fix my cake with buttercream..I WAS WRONG!! =(
my attempt was a complete disaster..=( see for yourself..

The buttercream got stuck to the cake, and it pealed the cake by chunks as i was trying to smooth it out...NOT GOOD!!

So i attempted to TRY to fix it...of course only one side, because the other was disaster...PLUS i had my fondant ready already, so i had to use it..

so yes A TOTAL MESS!!! so it's destiny...

THE TRASH!!!!! =( 

better luck for the next time....I WILL NOT GIVE UP!!

I know, I know, I've been very ungrateful lately...=( I am ashamed...so here goes my long list =)

1. I have a wonderful husband who supports me in my crazy hobbies!!!
2. My birthday is coming up in less than a month.
3. Great friends - and for making new ones
4. SOO thankful that I get to talk to my hubby almost every day =)
5. A FULL WEEK AT HOME!!! it had been a while!
6. Netflix..it is my best friend..=) LOL..although I'm starting to run out of movies...they need to catch up

7. CAKES!! although some don't come out right..LOL

9. Cereal!   yes, it works for Bfast, Lunch and Dinner!! hehe

11. A great church that has a good foundation!! =) I missed coming to it..

Cake nightmares!!…

I am sooo glad I attempted to do this before my birthday, because it DEFINITELY back fired on me :(. IT LOOKS HIDEOUS!!!
What a nightmare!! It's like a horror movie!!! Hahaha.

Tomorrow we'll find out its final fate… can butter cream fix things???…will it be able to survive? …is my business in jeopardy!!!??

RECAP!!!

Ok i have been horrible at writing, I'm sorry =( so here's a quick recap of the past weeks..I'll try to keep it short..hehe

 My Third week of classes happened and I got to make my cupcakes =) Of course i didn't know that we were gonna use these colors, so the colors arent the greatest!! LOL. and of course i made the wrong buttercream ..so it came out YELLOW!!! lol...

Esteban got to go to the pool and ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!! bad thing was we didn't know there was gonna BE  pool!! so the poor thing ended up going in with clothes and all...heheh...i don't think he minded too much =)

Took Esteban out to Pizza Hut and here I caught him eating a chicken wing!! hahaha..he looked so funny!!! HILARIOUS!!!

MY FINAL CAKE!!!!!!!!!!! last week was my final class!!! I loved the class soo much!! i want to start my own business!! hehhe... no i really do though... 

YAYS!!!   I GRADUATED!!! HAHHAH...

I'm trying to find out what I'm gonna do to take my next class so I can still travel and work, but i haven't found a solution yet...I'm excited though..my next one is gonna be FONDANT!!! YAYS!!!

My next big invention will be my BIRTHDAY CAKE!!! WOOOHOOOO!!! i already know what I'm gonna make..i just have to figure out how to do it =) more pics to come...

Freezing!!!

Yes it is definitely 89 degrees today and going to be 95.…AND IM DRINKING HOT CHOCOLATE!!! I'm freezing!!! Bad thing about workin. In such big building that the temperature is ALWAYS 10 degrees less than what it should be!! Brrrrr.

On another note, I hadn't drank hot chocolate since like 6 months ago so YUM!!!! haha.

CAKES YEAH!!! part DOS!! hehe

My second decorating class was yesterday, and I LOVED EVERY MIN OF IT!!!

I'm so glad God has allowed me to take this class, cuz it has helped tremendously!! as a stress reliever that is..hehe..anywho..I made a strawberry cake yesterday, and i was a bit upset, because the bottom of my cake got stuck to the pan, so it made a huge mess..
So i brought it to class and my teacher said it was still ok, that was good, so i cut it in half and filled it with rasberry jam..YUM!!!
Well i thought about taking pics through out my process...and I COMPLETELY FORGOT!! LOL..so here is the final result...I'll take more with a process on my next class :-)

Next week we get to do cupcakes...I'm thinking chocolate with manjar inside!! yum...

Well as if my day wasn't going crazy...i was on my way back home AND I GOT PULLED OVER BY A COP!!! :-( I was supposedly speeding...(which i know i wasn't...i was probably going 5 over) so he talked to me and asked me about my pill holder, and what i had...i told him advil and showed him..he said "why are they full of white powder" I said "I sometimes use pamprin in there..he said "PAMPRIN?"  i said yeah..uummm for menstrual stuff??!! HAHAH..I FELT SO STUPID...then he saw my cake and asked me if I had made it :-) needless to say i walked away with a warning only, and it was VERY NICE!! heheh...He was a nice cop...i like nice cops..hehe...

ps..i need to find new blog ideas, cuz my life just isn't that interesting..HAHAH...:-(
